  • Before leaving make sure that your car is insured to be driven out in both the UAE and Oman. In case you do not have any then you have to purchase insurance first. 
  • If you are using a rental car then ensure that you permitted its owner to cross the border of the UAE.
  • Keep in mind that there is no exit fee from Oman or re-entry fees to the UAE while you are returning. But it’s your responsibility to make sure that you have pulled over and checked your passport with the insurance documents.
